Hi there! My name is Mohamed Fadel and I am a backend developer with over three years of experience. I have a strong foundation in a variety of technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, MySQL, SQLite, and MongoDb.

I have worked on numerous projects as both a freelancer and as part of a team at All Web Services, an IT company in Benin. In addition to my technical skills, I am also certified in backend development with Node.js,have a strong understanding of Git,agile methodologies , and the basics of Docker.

I have been working as a backend developer for the past three years. I started my career as a freelancer, working on a variety of projects for clients in different industries. In May 2022, I joined All Web Services as a backend developer, where I have been working on a number of projects (such as Kloo & Sevexchange ) for clients in the Benin area.

In each of these projects, I was responsible for implementing the backend logic to integrate with the frontend, as well as handling database communications and business logic. I have also gained experience working with a team and communicating with clients to ensure that the final product meets their needs.

Server-side Development with NodeJS, Express and MongoDB: This certification demonstrated my proficiency in using Node.js to build server-side applications. It covered topics such as asynchronous programming, working with databases, deploying applications and many other things.

Version Control with Git: This certification covered the basics of using Git for version control, including how to create and manage repositories, make commits, and work with branches.

Docker for the Absolute Beginner: This certification introduced me to the concepts of containerization and the Docker platform. It covered topics such as building and deploying Docker images and managing containers.

Agile with Atlassian Jira: This certification provided an overview of the Agile software development methodology, including principles, practices, and tools. It covered topics such as Scrum and Kanban.

MySQL Database Design for Online Shop

One of my recent projects was to model a MySQL database for an online shop. I used MySQL Workbench to design the database and its various tables, relationships, and constraints. I paid particular attention to ensuring that the database was normalized and efficient.

NPM Package for Scraping Movie and Store Data

I create a npm package for scraping movie and store data from the website https://www.ticketac.com. This package allows users to easily retrieve data about movies and stores by using the command "npx scrap-movie". The data is then stored in a CSV file.

Rest API for Managing Projects in a Portfolio (Node.js, Typescript,Express,JWT,MongoDB)

I create an API for managing projects in a portfolio using Nodejs with TypeScript, Express,JWTs token for auth, and MongoDB with mongoose. This API allows users to create accounts and perform various operations such as creating new projects, setting project visibility, and deleting projects.

Discord Bot for Synonyms and Antonyms (Discord API, GPT-3)

I make a Discord bot using the Discord API and GPT-3. This bot has two basic commands: "/synonyms" and "/antonyms". When a user inputs a word and uses one of these commands, the bot returns the corresponding synonym or antonym of the input word.It work with serverless architecture and Cloudflare Workers. I am proud of the end result and the convenience it brings to Discord users.

Server-Side Rendering Web Application for Business Plan and Customer Management(Node.js, EJS, MongoDB)

I set up a server-side rendering (SSR) web application using Node.js and the EJS template engine. This application allows users to connect and manage the different plans of their business, as well as view and manage customers registered to these plans.

Real-Time Chat Application (Node.js, Socket.io)

I also create a real-time chat application using Node.js and Socket.io. This application allows users to create chat rooms and participate in real-time conversations with other users.I also implemented features such as room creation, username selection, and link sharing.
